Returns Policy

Vintage LX is committed to transparency and professionalism in every sale. In accordance with the applicable Portuguese legislation (DL n.º 84/2021, of 18 October, and DL n.º 24/2014, of 14 February — Portuguese Decree-Laws), we inform our customers of their rights and of the returns and warranty procedures.

1. Used and Vintage Items

All our items are used, vintage or antique, and may show normal signs of use and wear consistent with the age and type of piece. These signs do not constitute a defect.

Vintage LX informs that the legal warranty for used goods sold in our physical shop and online shop is 18 months, under Article 12 of DL 84/2021.

2. Warranty and Repairs

In the event of a duly proven lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled, in the first instance, to the free repair of the item. Only where this is not possible or proves disproportionate may replacement, a price reduction or a refund of the amount paid be considered.

Vintage LX reserves the right to carry out a technical assessment before accepting any request for return or replacement, in order to confirm the existence and nature of the defect.

3. Returns

In accordance with the applicable legislation and our commercial policy:

• Returns are not accepted for items that have been assembled, used, handled or damaged after delivery;
• Returns are not accepted for simple change of mind or change of personal preference after delivery;
• Returns are not accepted for pieces showing signs of use previously described or to be expected in a vintage/used item;
• In the event of a defect, a return will only be accepted after an unsuccessful or technically unfeasible attempt at repair.

4. Complaints Procedure

Any complaint must be notified in writing within a maximum of 14 days of delivery, by email to info@vintagelx.com, with a detailed description of the situation and photographs, where applicable.

In the event of a dispute, the consumer may use the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (the official Portuguese electronic complaints book) or an alternative consumer dispute resolution body.

6. Items delivered and assembled at home

Where the item is delivered and assembled at the customer’s home by our technical team, the customer acknowledges that:

• The service was carried out at their request and with their explicit consent;
• The item’s operation was checked at the time of delivery, where applicable;
• Under Article 17(m) of DL n.º 24/2014, the right of return by free withdrawal no longer applies after assembly;
• Any faults or adjustments will be resolved, in the first instance, through technical intervention under the legal warranty.
